Coupon and discount QR code
Print a code that opens your offer page, so shoppers can claim it on the spot.
What is your QR code for?
Make one in three steps
- Paste the link to your offer or discount code page.
- Scan the preview to check the offer shows correctly.
- Print it on flyers, receipts, bags or window posters.
What goes inside the code
An example, using sample details:
https://example.com/offers/spring-10
- Put the end date in print
- Write the closing date and any conditions next to the code. People should not have to scan to find out the offer has finished.
- One link per campaign
- Use a different link for each flyer or channel, such as example.com/offers/spring-10. Your website statistics then show which campaign brought people in.
- Show the discount code large
- If the offer is a code people type at checkout, show it in large text on the landing page, so it is easy to copy on a phone.
Hosted coupon pages
Pro ($4.99 a month) includes hosted coupon pages behind dynamic codes. Swap the offer when a campaign ends, and see scan counts for each code.
Common questions
Does the free generator make coupons?
The free generator links to an offer page you already have, such as a page on your website or online shop. A hosted coupon page, made and kept with us, is a Pro feature.
What happens when the offer ends?
A static code keeps opening the same page, so update that page to say the offer has ended. With a dynamic code you can send scans to your next offer instead.
Can I see how many people scanned?
Static codes are not tracked, because we never see them. Dynamic codes on paid plans count scans, so you can compare one flyer against another.
