Questions people ask before printing

Do free QR codes expire?

No. A static code carries its content inside the pattern, so it works for as long as the thing it points to does. There’s nothing on our side to switch off.

Do you see what I put in a code?

No. Static codes are made in your browser. Links, Wi‑Fi passwords and contact details never reach our servers, and we don’t track who scans them.

What’s the difference between static and dynamic?

A static code holds its content directly and can’t change. A dynamic code holds a short qrhippo.online link that you can point somewhere new at any time, and it counts scans. Dynamic codes need a plan.

What happens to dynamic codes if I stop paying?

Editing and scan stats stop. The code keeps sending people to its last destination for at least 12 months, so printed codes don’t break overnight. Hosted pages stay online for 30 days.

How many free codes can I make?
